This is how the story will feel to read.
Now taking requests!

On Friday I got an email from a tale reader: they were enjoying reading Herman Melville, but they wanted to read a Project Gutenberg book next that we didn't yet include.
So I built requests that very evening: sign in to request any Project Gutenberg file and we'll try to find a matching LibriVox recording to align it with. If we can't align it to audio, no problem, we'll just leave you with the text.
This is all working with Vercel Sandboxes, it creates ad-hoc virtual machines to do the compute to align a public domain audiobook to the public domain text often in less than half an hour.
Oh, and now they (and you!) can read along to the audiobook of The Learned Women.
