- This is where Buck Rogers actually started: Anthony Rogers wakes from a gas-induced sleep into a conquered 25th-century America, all jumping belts, rocket guns, and scrappy guerrilla bands. Pure 1928 pulp, brisk and inventive, though the Yellow Peril politics have aged very badly.
- This is the second half of the original Buck Rogers story, and it's pure 1929 pulp: Anthony Rogers, rocket belts, disintegrator rays, and long gleeful lectures on imaginary tech. Fun if you love vintage sci-fi archaeology, but brace yourself, the racial politics around the Han are genuinely ugly.
