E. E. Cummings
1 Buch
- You settle into Cummings’s strange, funny memoir of imprisonment, where fellow detainees become vividly peculiar personalities and bureaucratic French absurdity keeps rubbing against real fear. The prose is playful and unruly, so you enjoy it most when you’re willing to wander rather than look for a tidy war story.
