The Absolute at Large~3 Std. Lesezeit English
You watch engineer Marek’s “karburator” turn cheap energy into a worldwide outbreak of religious ecstasy, while industrialists, politicians, and armies try to profit from it. Čapek keeps the satire brisk and wonderfully odd, though the episodic middle wanders; you read it for its sharp mix of technology, faith, and bureaucracy.
