Michel de Montaigne
1 Buch
- You’ll like watching Montaigne think in real time, wandering from friendship and fear to cannibals, education, and the behavior of his cat, then quietly changing his mind. The essays are uneven and wonderfully unhurried, best read a few pages at a time when you want company rather than conclusions.
