Robert Frost

- The long title poem is Frost in a chatty, needling mood, teasing his own state, but stick around for what's tucked behind it: Fire and Ice, Nothing Gold Can Stay, that snowy woods poem you half know already. It reads best slowly, out loud, in winter.
- Frost at his least postcard-pretty: long blank-verse conversations between farm neighbors, husbands and wives who can't quite say what they mean. Home Burial will wreck you a little, and Mending Wall is slyer than the line everyone quotes.
