1950

- If you can grin at 1950s pulp dialogue and heroes who are incorruptible on purpose, watching Virgil Samms trek to Arisia for the first Lens, then fight drug rings and a rigged election, is honest fun. Come to it wanting scope and momentum, not subtlety.
- Fair warning, this is early Weinbaum, closer to pulp romance-with-a-shadow than his Martian stuff. Still, watching Pat Lane keep loving Nick Devine while something colder keeps surfacing behind his eyes has a queasy pull, and Dr. Horker's armchair psychoanalysis is a fun period piece.
