- You’ll enjoy Arcot, Morey, and Wade treating interplanetary travel like an engineering problem, with pages of cheerful speculation about engines, weapons, and alien physics. The characters are thin and the prose is dated, but if you like early science fiction’s big ideas more than emotional subtlety, it has real charm.
