A Doll’s House Henrik Ibsen, traducido por R. Farquharson Sharp
You spend the whole play watching Nora play the giggling little wife Torvald wants, sneaking macaroons and dancing the tarantella, while something underneath tightens like a wire. It reads fast, feels a bit stagey at first, then that final scene lands and stays with you.
Thus Spake Zarathustra Friedrich Nietzsche, traducido por Thomas Common
You get a strange, beautiful mix of sermon, parable, and provocation, with Zarathustra speaking from a mountain in language that keeps turning into poetry. The tightrope walker, the dancing animals, and the attacks on easy morality reward rereading, though its grand voice can wear you down.
