- Jo’s Boys EnglishYou return to Plumfield as Nat, Dan, Emil, and the others stumble into adulthood, while Jo’s warm, meddling care remains the book’s center. It’s episodic and openly moralizing, sometimes sentimental, but its affection for these unruly boys makes the uneven journey feel personal.
