- The Practice and Theory of Bolshevism non-fictionYou get Bertrand Russell thinking through Bolshevism after actually visiting Soviet Russia and meeting Lenin, rather than treating it as an abstract theory. His observations of Moscow, factories, and revolutionary certainty make this a sharp, sometimes dated political essay, best read for its wary intelligence rather than its verdicts.
